New Fire Station
The Cloverdale Fire Protection District continues to work with Santa Rosa Architectural firm ArchiLogix on the design of a new fire station. The fire station will be located on District owned property at 451 South Cloverdale Boulevard. The District purchased the property in 2000 anticipating construction in 2002. Finding a funding mechanism was critical and difficult. Taxpayers were unwilling to add to the tax roll to support the station. The project will be funded by the City of Cloverdale’s Community Development District which is using existing tax revenue to debt service a community bond. We expect the project to bid in late August and maybe break ground in October of 2007.
